Granite Counter Tops
A granular igneous stone, ranging vastly in color from near white through the spectrum of golds, pinks, greens and blues to grays and blacks. Granite is made mostly of quartz and feldspar. Granite is cut in the quarry into blocks and sliced into slabs before being polished and sealed. Colors and pattern can vary from block to block and consumers should see the actual slab(s) prior to fabrication of counters.

MATERIAL CARE
Granite is a natural material and its dense nature gives it a natural defense to resist staining and scratching. It is recommended to regularly apply a sealant once every two years to prevent staining. Clean with water or a cleanser specifically manufactured for natural stone.
